After the COVID-19 pandemic restricted operations for more than two years, Qatar Airways has pushed back its network to nearly 150 global destinations. The airline is now offering up to 500 flights a day as it nears a full recovery.
Al Baker added,
“Our mission is to invite travellers, wherever they are in the world, to create memories for our passengers and to make travel part of their experience, not just a way to get to destination. We are truly rolling out the burgundy carpet for everyone on board to showcase the unrivaled levels of product and service excellence experienced when flying with Qatar Airways.”
The airline is expected to offer a record African network after recently adding Windhoek, Africa’s 31st city, to its schedule.
Qatar Airways has continued to provide more service than most carriers during the pandemic, remaining resilient despite an unprecedented downturn in the industry.
Qatar Airways recently unveiled a brand new menu for its North American network. The menu was created by Mary-Jane Bonnaud, the airline’s first female chef, and inspired by the 13 cities it serves in the United States and Canada.
